Rare, unique, important pendant lamp variant of mod. 1849. The chandelier features an elegant and refined design, typical of the style
of Max Ingrand. The shapes are sinuous and harmonious, with glass diffusers that create a soft, enveloping illumination. The frame is made of brass and black lacquered metal, high quality materials that give the chandelier a luxurious and durable look. The diffusers are made of curved satin-finished and ground glass, crafted with great skill to achieve a unique lighting effect.
Max Ingrand was a prominent French designer and master glassmaker, artistic director of Fontana Arte from 1954 for a decade. During this time, he created some of the company’s most iconic pieces, including the famous Fontana table lamp.
